A. Kaptivate Kids is a children’s and teenage entertainment provider. We offer a personalised and professional range of parties to cater for all ages from 4-16. Please check out our About Us section for further information.
A. We have many options available when booking a party. This will determine the cost as we have our standard structure, special themed parties and additional optional extras available.
A. We offer flexibility in our bookings where we have a minimum requirement of 1 hour and the standard party lasting 2 hours in duration. Should you require longer, we are happy to book for additional hours to meet your requirements.
A. It takes our entertainer 30 minutes to set their equipment up. If you order the added FX lights, we require a total of 1 hour to set up and break down equipment. For this reason, please ensure you have access to the venue with enough time for our entertainer to set up for the party and break equipment down at the end.
A. All our parties include a fully trained, qualified and DBS checked entertainer. Each entertainer will have a full set of DJ equipment, lights and effect machine(s) of your choice. The party will include a full structure of age specific games and music with time built in for the children to have a food break (supplied by you). If the party is for a special occasion such as a birthday, we will also host a cake (supplied by you) and medal ceremony.
A. All music played will be age specific, normally chart music. For your peace of mind, all music provided will be ‘radio edited’. On booking, we will take any music requests to make the day more personable.
A. We currently work around Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Depending on request, we may be able to cater for a party further afield, however, this may come at an additional cost.
A. Our awesome entertainer will provide you with music, games, winner’s prizes, consolation sweets and activity sheets. All you need to supply is:
- Party essentials (plates, cups, napkins etc.)
- Party bags
A. We have a maximum of 40 children per party for safety, insurance and enjoyment reasons. However, we do not include babies or toddlers who are unlikely to join in with the games. We do not limit adults and welcome parents/adults to stay, watch and you may even be asked to join in!
A. Unfortunately our entertainers are unable to come in costume. However, they will accessorise where possible to make sure they look the part. Children are always welcome to wear fancy dress, especially when attending a themed party, a costume always adds to the fun.
A. We pride ourselves on our reputation and will always make sure we turn up at least 30 minutes before the party is due to start. If you have any concerns, we have an emergency contact number you can call on the day of the party. We understand the importance of a child’s party so not turning up is never an option for us!
A. Please call the office on 0330 043 2513 and one of our friendly agents will be happy to take the booking over the phone and answer any additional questions you may have. We require a deposit over the phone to secure your booking. The remaining balance will be paid to the entertainer at the end of the party.
